"most amazing place I’ve ever stayed"

"Have stayed here several times and will continue to do so when coming to Kruger. It's a great property , really comfortable rooms with everything you need, and you cannot beat the location!"

"The staff were very polite and helpful at every step of the way. Everyone wanted us to enjoy our visit and just concentrate on the safari drives and the food."

"This place is great, dynamite really. Close enough to Kruger, great and knowledgeable and energetic hosts, know so much about the birds and animals, and lots else, a cool international vibe, and more fun than I've had traveling in a long time"

"Your response is unacceptable. The Royal Hotel was closed for refurbishment at the time of my booking — a fact that should have been known to Hotels.com before confirming any reservations. "Such a lovely resort, the people are friendly, the food is different every night, the tents are stunning and the guides clearly love their jobs which make the drives so enjoyable, would 100% recommend staying here."

"The supper and breakfast buffet was excellent. We loved everything about this Lodge ….. staff, accommodation, service, linen, loved it all and would definitely come back"

"Room is very nice & staff was very kind & helpful."

"Location was amazing!"

"The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof."

"Beautiful place, excellent food, amazing safari, very knowledgeable and experienced guide."

"From the second that Dennys picked us up, it was just like Home. Awesome Guy. The Food was Stunning, the Installations were Flawless and the Elephants, Giraffes and Hippos accross the river was amazing. The owner/manager was super friendly and our Safari Driver Elvis Was unbelievable funny and knowledgeable. Highly recommended."
