Great place!!!

We had a room with the view on the canyon, that was totally awesome! Everyone was very nice. Food at the restaurant was OK for dinner. For breakfast, I would recommend not to chose the buffet, which was not satisfying for the price.

It was great to be able to stay over and hike the next day. There is a shop on the premises but it closed before we arrived. The apartment was clean and easy to use. No coffee pot (or French press), but instant is available. The hiking was great!

We very much enjoyed the stay. Fantastic environment, great staff. The restaurant was far better than expected - keep in mind this is not Cape Town. We have been here more than 20 years ago, the rondavells were unchanged but the chalets look better than that time. The walks are challenging when it’s hot - it was hot. The ressort grounds are huge, I did 8km joggings (keep the mind of the gradients!) without leaving it. It was pretty calm when we were there, only at the Saturday of our stay plus a bus tour frightened away the sleepiness during the other days. We loved the stay!

Our stay was good and facility has great potential. It would help to invest in a bit of white linen for the beds to bring out a bit of colour and life in the rooms. The linen is worn out and very old which makes it dull. The rooms have all the necessities like plates, glasses and braai utensils which is great. Overall stay was great.

The natural beauty is wonderful. The accomodations are dated with tiny kitchens, poor kitchen equipment and stained curtains. Beds are fine. I would describe the units generally as clean, and mostly comfortable. Definitely not in the "luxury" category as claimed. Luxury providers do not search their guests' cars when they leave the property. The reason given for the search was to prevent theft of plants and animals. The more likely reason is to prevent theft of microwaves.

Unvergleichliche Ausblicke auf die Rondavels und den Canyon! Einige Wanderwege starten direkt am Resort. Das Chalet ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Schränke riechen muffig, der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, aber die wundervolle Umgebung mit den Tieren auf dem Gelände machen alles wett. Das zugehörige Restaurant ist empfehlenswert.

Et af de dårligste hoteller vi har boet på i lang tid. Værelserne var i dårlig stand og ikke vedligeholdt i flere år. Personalet virkede uengageret og ikke serviceminded. Vi kunnen ikke få håndklæder til poolen. Udsigtspunkter på stedet var fantastisk. Restauranten var rigtigt dårligt...maden var ilke ordentligt varm og smagte ikke sæglig godt.

Für uns war das Häuschen zu dunkel. Könnte freundlicher und heller erscheinen. Die vieöen Häuschen auf dem Areal sind schon älter. Dafür fühlten wir uns sicher auf dem grossen Areal. Pool war schön. Leider gab es am Abend nur Buffet. War in Ordnung. Viele frei lebende Affen auf dem Gelände.
