« The property has potential to be beautiful with a lot of care and attention. As it stands it is extremely outdated and tatty looking and definitely not very clean and certainly not comfortable. The mattress was overhanging the base of the bed, the sheets were too small and the pillows had very little life left in them although the duvet cover, pillow cases and sheets were clean. The whole hotel needs a good clean and maybe the use of a hoover would make a little difference. We had food in the...

« Property was great, amazing service and welcoming. »

« Parfait ! récent, propre et très bon service superbe piscine »

« Hôtel propre et chambres propres et fonctionnelles. Petit déjeuner du 1er jour n était pas à la hauteur d un hôtel du groupe Accor . je n ai donc pas pris de petits déjeuner les jours suivants. Viennoiseries pas fraîches , œufs brouillés 2/10 .. »

« One night in that hotel. Convenient as the car park is large and free. My room was a bit close to the main road so not quiet. Bed + bathroom very good. Wifi working well. Good restaurant at reasonable prices. Supermarket next door if you need to refuel. »

« Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it. »

« De passage à Burton pour le Bloodstock Festival nous en avons profité pour rester une semaine autour de la Trent. Cet hotel est le pied à terre idéal, propre, calme, pas cher et bon service. Et le Bloodstock est desservi par un service de limo pour 13 £ le trajet, bonne formule. »

« I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

« Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay »

« Hôtel propre mais vétuste. Tout est d’époque! La peinture des fenêtres s’écaille, d’ailleurs impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre et pas de climatisation à part un ventilateur posé sur le bureau. »

« Upon arrival to Splash Landings we went to the bar to order drinks. Over 10 minutes later we still had no drinks as the barman could not operate the till or simply pour a slushy. When we had breakfast in the morning it took longer to find a clean plate than it did to get breakfast. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but we were only staying one night so we made do. I always strip the beds after we stay over at hotels to help the domestic staff and I was utterly disgusted by the bedding...

« I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints »

« The stables was a bit difficult to find but once we got there we were able to call reception. Check in was quite straightforward and we were able to get to the room quickly. The room was really nice and clean, comes with Wi-Fi and a mini fridge as well as a hot tub on the balcony with plenty of privacy. We were able to go on a few trails as close as 10mins away to explore the Peak District. Lots of fun hikes to do for different abilities. The steakhouse next door was amazing, the chef of...

« Excellent location and value for money. Really pleasant reception/staff in general. Great for kids »
