"We had a great week of relaxation and low-key local tourism. The house was solidly built, clean and secure - could have had a few more utensils etc in the kitchen, but functional. We explored the area by local bus, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Trevor, our host, could not have been more helpful. The view, and sunrises, were splendid."

"This hotel has no AC and that was a drawback. The biggest problem was the fact that the room was not sealed to mosquitoes and insects. We were bitten all over. Hopefully, they have resolved both of these issues now, because apart from thet, the location is wonderful."

"The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself needs some major improvements, especially the room. The AC was leaking, leaving a puddle of water on the floor, and there weren’t enough towels to soak it up. The couch and chairs were very worn out, when you sit down, you sink right into them, and the tables and counters were peeling at the bottom. There were several other small issues that could use attention as well. Overall, it’s a very beautiful hotel with so much potential, and we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the wonderful staff. "
