« Overall the experience was good. My only issues were that my window ended up facing another building. I didn't mind it too much so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a heads up for others that it may be a possibility. The other issue was that the exhaust in the bathroom runs non-stop. There is no switch to turn it off. It is not connected to the light switch. I only had contact with the staff 2 times. Once at check in, which they were very friendly. The 2nd I had to call to the front desk because...

« When we arrived it was about 10:30 at night our first room smelled so bad we couldn't stay in it we asked if there was another room which the staff was very helpful with and got us another room. Unfortunately the second room the AC barely worked and went kicked on it was incredibly loud. Most likely the AC wasn't able to keep up so the whole room smelled damp as well. We would have gone somewhere else had there been any other options. The hot tub is also boarded over just as an FYI. »

« The staff members that we did interact with were phenomenal! Very friendly, very helpful. I loved that they offered different breakfast options every morning as well. The room we stayed in appeared to have been very quickly cleaned up, very recently. There was toilet paper still in the peephole from the previous guest, and just didn’t feel CLEAN clean. « The floor had dead bugs on it, the treadmill mill wasn't working and the breakfast selection wasn't very good. The "hot food" sausage and gravy was cold and the orange juice didnt have any flavor to it. »

« There was black mold in the ac unit, not much variety outside of waffles for breakfast, lots of people smoking marijuana in the hotel, strong smell of marijuana in the hallway. Not a good environment and will not be recommending to others and will not be returning. Would like a refund. »

« We were thrilled with the quiet, comfortable, spacious room. It was great for sleeping and for reading. The house and property are beautiful and fascinating historically and architecturally. The hosts were incredibly kind and even helped us out with a car issue. Breakfasts were generous and delicious--quiche, coffee cake, fruit salad, etc. We had a great time and were well pleased. »
