« Beautiful hotel. The patio was fantastic, but only two parasols available for about eight tables outside. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. Lovely views overlooking Lake Windermere in the distance. The breakfast and lunch were brilliant. We took a walk around the gardens and tarn which were delightful. Free duck food is available at reception. »

« Rooms clean, Mark made us feel welcome. Good location 10 minutes from the lake 5 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants. Good base if you wish to explore more of the towns by bus or car . »

« Was really disappointing the shower area was so tiny you couldn’t turn around if you did the shower curtain kept sticking to you and so much damp in this tiny area. You had to keep your arms in.

« The accommodation was very good.
The rooms were like small apartments in the grounds of the property & were spacious with a seating area & a balcony overlooking the gardens & the bathroom was clean & well kept.
Nice & quiet position.
Parking for each room directly outside each room.
The signage for the hotel could be a little better as it is only pointing one way so we drove past & had to turn around & go back.
Breakfasts were really good.
Lots of choice with cereals, fruit etc & lots of choice...
