Walking distance to town centre. Clean, modern and comfortable.

Beautiful place! Breakfast and meals in the pub were excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and the bathroom Wow! Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms had all been redone and were very comfortable. The rooms were a little small, but very, very nice. The food in the restaurant was great.

One staff member in particular stood out above the rest for her thoughtfulness and kindness - Bridge! Thank you for taking such good care of us. ❤️

Great location, very clean.

Great location. A retreat from the agitated world. View of the see, nice dunes for a walk! Very welcoming. Very cosy. Good machine coffee in the room. Quiet. Carpet not to good for those who has allergies. Bed a bit hard. But the view, location and Nice people makes up for it. Many pub/restaurants nearby that are good like The Strand and The Venue. Breakfast ta the hotel is à Nice change from what you get everywhere else. Go there if you are not loud people.

Lough Eske Hotel was beautiful, our rooms were large, well equipped, clean and welcoming. The grounds were beautifully kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with lovely service. We would highly recommend staying here. We would love to return for a longer stay so that we can make use of all this property has to offer.

Clean - cottage like - food was excellent, staff were friendly.

Clean comfortable room. Fresh continental items and hot cooked to order.

Breakfast selection buffet was wonderful! The lodge rooms were small as outlined by the hotel but comfortable!

Excellent location and the proximity to Joyce's bar was an asset.

Rom was lovely and large. Staff that checked us in were great. Bar/restaurant staff a little less so. Wouldn't let us sit at a table to have a drink and think about ordering. Insisted we sit at the bar. I gave a sore knee and couldn't. So we had to sit outside. It's covered and warm but all the smokers go outside and that was yucky

Excellent helpful staff. Without GPS a challenge to locate given the city streets but worthwile

The staff at Downey's Bay were wonderful, very accommodating, friendly, cheerful and couldn't do enough for us. My thanks to all of them. We had a marvelous stay
