« A simple request.....a room on the first floor....way too complicated for thé girl at thé reception as they already assigned us a room on second.....She could not !!! Damned....the motel was EMPTY !! That place really need an update, cleaning and care,,,let’s start by serving warm coffee in the morning....... »

« Breakfast was really good. King bed was made from two twin mattresses with a thick topper and was not very comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful. »

« Lovely b and b. Historically elegant, but rustic too. The owner and her staff were great hosts. Recommend they improve the directions of the automatic sensor lights. Someone or something set them off throughout the night causing the room to light up like a sunny day at the beach. »

« The house was exactly as pictured. The area was very quiet- we didn’t see or hear anyone else the whole weekend! Would highly recommend for a quiet fall weekend. Van Dee was super responsive and helpful. Our only suggestion would be more kayak paddles. We could only locate one. »

« The house itself inside is very nice a beautifully restored and spacious. There is a real problem with the electrical system, breakers flip off several times a day. You can’t use the coffee pot (regular size) and microwave at the same time without breaker going off. Sometimes the tv and heat will trigger the breaker to flip. There are no small trash containers in bathrooms or bedrooms and no toilet brush in either bathroom or any cleaner. Also kitchen needs a full size coffee pot, just a...

« Everything about our stay here was fantastic! Anytime I reached out to the host, she responded on a timely manner. We were in want or need of anything at the house. The house so clean and felt like home. Definitely will try to rebook, if I head back up there. »
