"Nice pool and good breakfast"

"The house was beautiful- set in peaceful surroundings. The infinity pool overlooking the valley was stunning. All furnishings and appliances were top quality. We are a professional couple who were working remotely for a week and this place suited us perfectly. Visitors should be aware it is a little off the beaten track as are many of the most beautiful properties in Costa Rica but the property managers are knowledgeable and can be helpful in planning activities and excursions."

"The main bed was small for two adults and the resort itself was a bit run down. The tennis courts and pool were not usable. The kitchen had a good supply of pans, utensils, and kitchen tools. The area itself was super quiet."

"As a family of 3 adults, we enjoyed our stay at Roy's guest house. We chose it in part for its more rural setting though it is very close to town. We had hoped to use the large pool and hiking trails at the Adventist camp next door, but it was closed due a large event they were holding. "Ideal location to stay with family or friends, close to two beaches, three pools and other services such as restaurants and butterfly garden. Property needs maintainance at some parts. Road to the resort is full of holes and needs to be repaired. Reception staff at check in was not friendly, on the other hand others were. A bit more interest in the guests would lead in to more returning guests."

"The view was incredible! I could spend four days by the pool. It was great to have the shuttle (4x4) to the beach. It is not a swimming beach at all, but it is great for watching the waves and reading a book. Drinks were delicious, though the good was hit or miss. (The tuna tartare was incredible; the seafood platter was a sad disappointment.) The staff were very kind and helpful and there was yoga on the weekends with a transcendent view."
