There are Macaws right on the property to squawk their greetings as you check in. The staff was friendly and professional and answered all of my questions in English. The cabin I had was older, but beautifully decorated with the Scarlet Macaw red theme (perfect for me). Everything worked well, such ad frige and coffee maker, and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and the secured grounds felt very quiet and safe. I went to Tarcoles village beach to watch the Macaws turn in for the evening and to enjoy a fabulous sunset. Comfortable. Difficult to find without your own means of transport. When the bus dropped us at the main road we called the hotel and a vehicle was quickly sent to pick us up. Because it is so far from shops and restaurants we ordered food via WhatsApp messages to the manageress (Patricia) & she kindly brought it to us in her car. Staff helpful. Breakfast was provided at the pool side. We saw a toucan just a few feet from the pool–beautiful!
