"This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "

"House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach....

"The apartment (3) was absolutely spotless, it was like we were the first people there. Brand new washing/drying machine, oven and fridge freezer, comfortable, clean beds, towels and large table. There is no kettle or toaster, these would be useful additions, as would a variety of glasses (there were only very small ones) and there were only large plates and one cereal bowl. "Lovely place to stay on the edge of the National Park. We were here for 3 nights to explore the National Park. It was a lovely place to explore. Didn't use the house much to be honest, as we were out walking all day. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of cooking equipment and crockery. Shower was nice and warm. "Not enough stars to give this property, a clear 100%. It is in immaculate condition, owners greeted us and super helpful. They were nearby but did not intrude. "We crashed at the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes mid-afternoon after a morning exploring Guimaraes. We were almost at the end of our two-plus week trek. We were ready for down time. We spent a lovely afternoon walking the grounds, swimming in the beautiful pool [allowed though the pool wasn't yet officially open], having drinks on the terrace, and having dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a delight."
