My granddaughter was so enthralled with her idea of a great time - fishing things out of the pond, visiting the turkeys, and making sure all the animals had non-stop treats. Take plenty of carrots, apples, blueberries, and grapes. So the evening came and after her shower she asked to lay down at the front of our wagon to watch for lightning bugs. Some showed up...

"This sanctuary provided the experience my heart and soul needed. To experience a world where pigs, roosters, peacocks, dogs, cats, goats and a sheep can safely and freely roam around 20 acres to eat and lay down wherever they want is what I hope for ever animal. Elaine, owner, truly has a passion for these animals. She was kind and helpful throughout our time in the wagon. She maintains the grounds very clean and the animals appear to be very well taken care of."
