"Great newer hotel next to city Beach and park . Right on Lake Huron fine sandy beach. Walk the beach for miles in either direction. Best kept secret in Michigan."

He communicated with me very well and made us feel very welcomed from start to finish ! He helped when we blew a fuse immediately! Was a wonderful experience!"

"Our second stay here. Great location!"

"Very clean cabin. Host was very helpful and responded to our questions very quickly. Not much parking at location."

"Really nice, comfortable place!!! Plenty of room!! Looks nicely taken care of!!! Will definitely be back!!! Great location, beautiful setting!!! Thanks for everything!!!"

"The cozy one bedroom hotel turned out to be a windowless closet. Because we objected so strongly to the host he was able to put us into a cottage since we were only staying for the one night. The cottage was acceptable except for the bed ..the picture on the website was not the room they were going to give us. Check-in said tell them you’re renting the front living room . There was just enough room for the bed and the toilet squeezed between two walls."

"Very helpful and was a nice cozy weekend we had a amazing time "

"Would stay again! Perfect fit for us as we had friends at the campground! Everything we wanted to do and see was in close proximity!!"

"Wonderful place! Very comfortable and charming!"

"I always enjoy my stay at Lazy Fish, the location and view can't be beat and I love that bringing the dog along is an option there. Tim and Nancy are great with communication and were helpful when we left charcoal for the grill at home. The cabins are older but I can see the updates every year. It has everything needed for a short stay in this unit."

"Place needs alot.of work inside, shades, kitchen table and kitchen counter all need to be replaced. Proximity to lake Huron and beach was great."

"We love staying at the Spruce cottage every time we come up to Hubbard Lake. You wake up to find deer right outside and a beautiful sunrise off of the lake. Alpena is only 35 minutes away with plenty of nice restaurants and shopping. What an awesome and cozy place will definitely be coming back. Thanks again for having us"

"This is a perfect cabin for a couple looking for a quiet get away in the area. Single bed and bath with a porch right on the pond, we enjoyed watching the fish churn the water to a boil at feeding time. Although it may be small for a family, my wife and I had a wonderful stay here."
