The room was exceptionally clean, and having all the necessary camping supplies provided by the hosts made our stay perfect. I highly recommend this spot to everyone!

Used it as a relaxing getaway. Best part was the cool night breeze and being able to listen to the water waves from the lake as we laid down to go to sleep. Definitely WANT TO GO BACK!!

The room was clean and perfect, communicated before the check time was easy. We have a pet Sadie and she loved it she had a great time in the lake. The price was was affordable for the time we were there. We're are looking forward to going there again next year. Thank you to the host Tim and Nancy.

This is our second time coming here with our family and dogs, and we absolutely love it. The cabins are nice and the direct access to the beach with miles of sandy shores can’t be beat. We will definitely be back

Nice, Relaxing Stay!!

Miami Beach Resort was clean, relaxing and equipped with every ammenity needed for an enjoyable stay! Our host, Nancy was in communication and available if needed. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Broken curtain rods, bed linen that smelled like wet dog, Oreo cookies found at foot of bed, large amounts of sand on floor, trees & weeds growing through dilapidated deck, box fan with 2 inches of dust, no AC, unlit parking with huge logs that cause tripping/falls. Paid for 4 nights, stayed 1…. Left and cut losses. Do not recommend!!

Anniversary trip

Love the cabin. It had everything we needed to stay there just had to bring our groceries. Love the sunrise and the beach. Can’t wait to go again this summer with my grandkids. Thanks so much for a wonderful getaway.

Great getaway

This spot is great for a long weekend getaway if you’re looking to enjoy a Michigan beach. It’s right on the water with great views and kayak access. Quiet area but still close enough for a short drive to little towns if you want to go out to eat or walk around. Hosts were very friendly!

Wonderful beach access right off your own deck.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It's the first time we were able to travel with our 2 cats and they loved sitting in the windows watching the waves. The hosts were 100% accessible and responsive, and we would definitely recommend this place and stay again ourselves.

Amazing Experience

We had a great time and loved our little cabin. The view of the lake and sunrise was beautiful. They had everything you could possibly need and was a comfortable place to stay. The staff and owners are super kind and down to earth. It was a great pleasure doing business with them and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolute peace!! It is my second stay at the lazy fish and after traveling all over the globe—it’s the peaceful view and quiet time with the beach right out the front door cabin that I want to return to!!! Crazy to say but this little place takes first for simplicity and rest!!

Beautiful view

Was very hot our stay, but the breeze being right on the water made it perfect. Our lab had so much fun swimming. Beautiful sandy beach. Clean, cute and perfect for the 3 of us. We will be back.

Very beautiful will definitely book again

This place is right on the water. Being able to go right outside on the beach is such an amazing experience. The place itself was very cute and had everything we needed. I loved it and if you are looking for somewhere cozy with a nice view of the water this place is perfect. They also had a bonfire which we really enjoyed.

Didn’t want to leave

This is my third year in a row staying in the same same cabin number 5, it was me and my son and my dog. I always enjoy staying there. I love the beach and number five cabin perfect size for us. We will definitely be back next year. I don’t ever wanna leave when it’s time to go.
