You'll have a private entrance, king bedroom and fully equipped kitchen with laundry. In the summer, relax on the patio with a spacious backyard and enjoy the waterfall and wildlife. We are conveniently located near Colorado Golf Club & Colorado Horse Park. Our place is no smoking/vaping/420 and no pets allowed. We look forward to hosting you! The Pinery Retreat is located near Parker, CO about 10 minutes to downtown Parker, 30 miles from downtown Denver and 35 miles from Denver Airport. Relax and recharge in this peaceful retreat, with deer wandering around the neighborhood and a seasonal waterfall pond, with a cascading stream bed. Once you step into the newly renovated space with a private entrance, you’ll feel right at home. The only space shared is the outside backyard. The inviting, lower level has lots of large windows for a light and bright feeling. The windows look into the backyard for a relaxing and peaceful view. You’ll have a brand new fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher and everything needed to prepare meals. The large quartz center island is a great gathering place and has comfortable bar stools. Included is your own washer and dryer. There is a work station with secure, high speed internet for working from home or just checking your emails. Hopefully the view won’t distract you. Kick up your feet and relax on the comfortable couch watching TV, with the cozy fireplace. The smart TV includes YouTube TV with on demand shows and local stations. There is a queen sofa sleeper with a upgraded mattress. At night, you’ll sleep great in the comfortable and large king size bed. On chilly nights, enjoy the heated mattress pad. Off the bedroom is the ¾ bath with a shower, hairdryer and basic toiletries. What makes the Pinery Retreat stand out is the outside space. May to fall, enjoy the sounds of the relaxing waterfall pond in the spacious backyard. Relax on the patio with a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage. Watch the sun set and then end the day with city lights and stars. You will see deer wandering thru the neighborhood and the yard. Birds love to visit the waterfall pond or bath in the stream. You must love dogs, since my 4 dogs share the yard. You may even get to see them practicing for their dog competitions in agility. My youngest Border Collie would love to play fetch with you. \-A/C and heat are shared with the thermostat located in the main house, not controlled from the space. There is a fireplace heater, electric space heater and fan. \-Lower level, with a private entrance, which is accessed thru the shared backyard and 10 outside stairs. We live full time above the space, but you will have complete privacy or we're here if you need anything. The only shared space, is the outside yard. \-My 4 dogs share the yard with you. It can be arranged ahead of time, and I can try to keep them out of the yard, when you're there, but you may still come across them. They are friendly, but may bark when they first meet you. Managed by myself, for a personalized touch. I have over 30 years experience, in hospitality and tourism. This enables me to be an attentive and responsive host, before and during your stay. There are lots of choices for places to stay and with over 300 5 star reviews(another platform), you can book the Pinery Retreat and be assured you made the correct decision for your trip. I look forward to hosting you for your stay! Must like dogs, since my 4 friendly dogs share the yard. Deer do roam the property. No service animals due to shared yard with my dogs. You may hear them barking, but it would be brief. It is a basement space of our house and we are up at 530am, but we do try to be quiet as possible. We are conscious about keeping the noise down, but like a hotel, you will hear some noise above you. I have a noise machine available, if needed. There is a not separate temperature control, only heat/air vents. I have a separate portable heater, electric fireplace and fan. The utility room is in the space, so you will hear some noise. It stays cool from the summer heat. $15 per person, per night charge for guest over 2\. If you select the correct number of Guest, it will show this. The entrance is accessed thru the back of the house via a short sidewalk, the deck and 10 outside stairs. It may be snowy in between shoveling. The layout is nice with an incredibly well stocked and very spacious kitchen. The bed was comfortable with many pillow options, and the ELECTRIC BLANKET was a huge bonus!!! The water feature in the yard was beautiful. Our hosts attended to our needs quickly and were so kind! We were within easy driving distance to anything we wanted to do as well. The only thing that was a little hiccup for us was the stairs down to the unit since we were traveling with our elderly mother who has a little mobility issue. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful place to rest after a fun day of hiking, exploring or shopping! ##### Angela C. Property was very clean and tidy. Plenty of little touches to make you feel welcome. Host communicates extremely well and timely. There is a small table where I would sit and work and be on the computer. On my last morning sure enough there were two deer in the backyard. The full kitchen has every piece of equipment one might require, all of which are in as new condition. The bathroom is well equipped and the towels are thick and luxurious. The king bed is equipped with numerous pillows and an especially comfortable mattress. This is a most generous, thoughtful host who has gone out of her way to ensure that her guests have everything they need and more. All instructions are detailed and easy to understand. With Limited options in the area.this worked out great. Easy to get in and out of. Short ride to a ton of the wedding venues nearby. Lots of food and grocery options close by as well. I had planned to be out in the country when I reserved this property. I was 40 years in the past in my mind. Parker is very developed however this home is in the neighborhood called 'The Pinery' and is a very hilly area, making for some great views. It's quiet with a private backyard. Deer are frequently in the yard. The waterfall makes for great 'quiet noise' and is easy to watch and listen to. Mary and Steve are great hosts and meet every need. We typically rent a hotel room when we come to visit our family in Parker…until now! We decided to give VRBO a try and are so happy that we did! Mary has thought of EVERYTHING, and then some! The beds were cozy, the space had every comfort of home, was very clean and secure, and the deer and dogs were our morning entertainment! What a treat!
