"Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. She even arranged a tea tasting, which unfortunately we were not able to attend because of our conflicting schedule. The room was large and comfortable. "We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. "People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. "

"We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. After waiting for twenty minutes we drove to the next restaurant to call them, since there is no cell phone reception at the Inn.
