The was no AC, they had put a portable unit in the tiny bathroom, took up half the bathroom, wasnt even cooling the room, no notice, no communication, and rude when we questioned it. Still awaiting the "refund " that was promised because we literally could not stay there 100 degrees in Florida in July with no AC is not happening.

Drove 11 hours to find that our reservation had been canceled with no notice. Probably a good thing after looking at the property. Very run down and in bad condition.

The room was extremely clean, there was no staff because it's technically like a studio apartment. Which me and my husband absolutely loved. Our hotel/studio apartment was a side view of the beach and the ocean which was absolutely amazing to watch while sitting and watching TV at night. I have read the negative reviews and cannot understand why it's so negative because this place is absolutely a hidden gem. We cannot rave enough about this place and how amazing it was. Now to be fair the room did not have ac, but it did have multiple fans which kept us cool for the 3 days and two nights that we stayed there.

No ac as it said there was Someone came in 2nd day made a mess all over my floor in the shower & took sanitary sign off toilet Microwave & fridge breaker popped while making chicken box dinner never got response on how to fix it so no chicken dinner for me finally decided to drag fridge use different outlet so meat didn't continue going bad The corner of the bed was broken the part that holds the actual mattress up on the corner like there's a bunch of boards the boards just like fall through the bed I tried fixing it I think I got one or two of boards back up but by the time I woke up it was out again For the price on the beach that was nice however I almost paid $185 for one night I would have been absolutely furious had I paid that kind of money for that kind of hotel

Once we arrived, we were notified of the construction to most of the Daytona Studios. Our specific unit was clean and nice, but the rest of the area seemed closed and unavailable for any use.

The room itself was nice and very clean. Great ocean view right on the beach. The thermostat on the wall was just for show. It was SO hot in our room that we ended up sleeping with the balcony door open. The property is in a great location for walking around town. My biggest complaint was the lack of front desk/staff. You had to call a number and they would text you back to help you if you had any questions or needed anything. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Giving low stars we rented a room that came with a parking spot and a pass but, because we rode our motorcycle we had to park out by the road. Not excited about it!!! Night security officer was rude and condescending! I paid a resort fee… for…? No ice machine no vending machine. The room itself was amazing loved it the view spectacular. Battery dead in fan/light remote so it was stuck on high so we had to use the switch and it was light on fan on high or completely off.

The building is set up to run all units on either heat or cold. We needed A/C because the days weren’t consistently cold. They couldn’t offer A/C our room was a steady 85. We ended our trip two days early because of this. The communication was very good and they did refund our two days.

Booked a Stay thru Hotels.com Chose option to Pay at Property bc Hotels.com has Overcharged me Several times in past. (Hours of frustration dealing with Agents to refund my money that was taken “Only to Book/Secure Room til arrival” and Your Card Will Not be Charged. Again, It was taken out of acct AND did Not allow me to get room after sitting in parking lot of Hotel that took my money and would Not send Lock Code. Took over $189 +$69 Service Animal Fee (I’m Disabled w/Certification) 3 hours of sitting in 100 blistering sun inside vehicle w/No A/C waiting to get into room that I have Paid for W/Confirmation number. Emailed and called Hotel Support without any response for about 3hrs then a guy from Hotel (Daytona Inn and Suites) finally called back and said He Apologizes that Money was taken But can’t Refund it bc Hotels.com took money and Not Them… Again, Hotels,com Agent claims Daytona Inn and Suites owe the Money back. I Never Saw a Room at Daytona Inn bc I could Not get in…. Be Careful with 3rd Party Reservations!!!!

Dont do it!

Booked a room for a single night for Bike week. Host contacted me the day prior due to plumbing issues. They offered another place about 10 minutes away but that wasnt going tonwork for me. Host said they would cancel my booking and issue a refund. 3 weeks later they refuse to answer calls, texts and emails. Filing an insurance claim today so I can get my $300 back for a room i didnt even stay in.

This is a construction zone. There is no access to beach and pool as advertized and in welcome text. There is mold on the door and the toilet does not fill. They should not be renting in this condition. I would leave but checked in late and will vacate early. Not a safe or pleasant environment.

Horrible, Dirty no A/C

It was horrible. DID NOT LAST 5 MINUTES. Had to leave. No A/C. Could not get anyone on the phone. 4th floor and elevator was torn up. Dated and dirty. Debris still from storm. Part of roof hanging off the top. Was not stable. Matresses on bed were cheap and thin. Would never stay here.

The room it self was super cute. Could tell that it was recently completely remodeled. Loved the flooring, the touches of yellow accents, the little side table and chair and the beachy feel to the decorations. The outside was under major construction and had a unsafe feel in general. The $69 "Resort fee" plus Daytona impact fees that incresed our stay by $98 for 2 nights was a ridiculous over charge. This property is no way a "Resort" of any kind. There is no front office, no breakfast of anykind, only one vehicle allowed with parking pass per room, (although who ever it was that i spoke to on the phone did give us a second pass when i requested it, but wasnt till the following morning). The room door was locked and unlocked by electronic key pad which was nice not to worry about loosing a key how ever there was NO chain lock on the inside of the door, which made me really nervous not knowing how often the code for the lock was changed or who may have the code that xould come in at anytime. Even when the door was locked from the inside, just by entering the code it unlocked. Felt very unsecure. The rules stated strick "no smoking" policy and would charge $250 for smoking, but the room smelt like someone had already smoked in it before we arrived. The pool and deck area was ok but fountain/ kids pool could use a fresh coat of paint for the center piece dolphin display. Would stay again but not with kids till construction was finished. Location was great.

I knew the property was dated because I lived in Daytona years ago. The room was clean. The door code was difficult at times and the elevator definitely needs some updating. We couldn’t use the TV - we logged into our streaming service but were not able to use it. We watched tv on our phone. The mini fridge was okay but the freezer had so much frost built up that had we needed the freezer we wouldn’t have been able to use it. Overall, the stay fit what we needed. But I will find other accommodations next trip. I probably won’t recommend this property to my friends. On a scale of 1-10, I would probably give this property a 5.5.

The room itself was adequate. The kitchenette was very convenient and adequate for our needs. The bed matresses were old, and worn out and Not Comfortable. Some surfaces were updated, but others not. For instance the bathroom vanity was updated, possibly even the tile in the bathroom, but the tub and tub faucets were so old and leaked! And I already mentioned the old matresses. The ceiling above the air conditioner was black with dirt, gross!!! During our stay there was construction going on in the rooms next to us and the construction people had their tools and equipment blocking the walkway to the elevator. Also trying to take a siesta was out of the question bc it was noisy in the afternoon, with hammering and drilling. Everything I complained about is documented in photos. My suggestion is to spend a little more $ to stay somewhere nicer if you can!
