"About a mile to Blackwater Falls and about the same to town. Very close to the gas station and a pizza place. The unit has everything you need, but if there’s anything you forgot, you aren’t far from the grocery store and a Dollar General! Great communication with the owner and her local person. Might be cozy for more than 2 people, but it was a nice place to stay."

The place has everything you might need and the customer service, both from the owner, and from the staff, will make you feel like you’ve all been long time friends. "My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. The property is great. It is small, but it suited us well for our purposes. The view of the small lake and mountainside was wonderful. We woke up one morning to the snow-covered ground and the moon reflecting off the frozen lake—it was beautiful. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with there being too much chlorine in the hot tub—they had the issue fixed the same day I raised the issue with them. When we checked out and forgot some clothes that were hanging in the closet, the property manager promptly mailed them back to us which my wife, especially, greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if/when visiting the Cannan Valley."
