For the age of the property, I thought it was excellent. The staff was really friendly and good to deal with. The location worked really good being we were there to watch our grandson at the hockey rink just across the street.
I stayed for work and during a snow storm. Comfortable, convenient, economical, clean, warm. Some updates from the last time I stayed (bathroom, flooring, paint, bedding). Great!
The property was older but had good bones with some money put into the exterior it would be a good place to stay
Loved the concrete walls
Had the most comfortable bed
Unfortunately there were some guests who were partying into the early hours so it was hard to get some sleep.
The coffee machine in the breakfast room was not functioning so a little disappointed not to get a quick coffee before leaving.

Stay was gd. Very quiet overnight. Reception friendly though we had to call a Quebec phone number to get a receptionist. Location was very central to the community and we were able to get supper and take in a show within walking distance. We were surprised to find a jacket or item of clothing in the dresser.

Found room to have an unusual strong smell that was upsetting . Room was very dark and entire facility seemed out dated. Could not stay in room, asked for refund shortly after checking in but was denied. Paid for night but did not stay , found alternative lodging.

I didn't like the continental breakfast. Cutlery was missing, syrup for waffles was lacking and cereal bowls were missing. The room did not look like it had been cleaned up from the day before. The room was supposed to be opened at 6:30 am but it was not opened until 8:15 am. This was my third stay here in the last year and the continental breakfast went downhill with every stay.

When looking to save money, this is a great place. The rooms have been renovated and no issue there. Bedding isn't the greatest and very limited TV options. Fridge is good size. Walking distance to the rink, pool, theatre and many options for meals there as well.

There was no hot water while we were there. We told the front desk they said it was just fixed and it would turn on in 20-30 minutes. It never did.

The continental breakfast could be better. I had waffles but it was hard to cut them with a plastic fork but no plastic knife. If you wanted cereal there was very little milk available in the 2 mornings I was there. Things were better when I was there in July.

The wall was taken apart under the sink, the whole place had mold, beds were terrible, even the comforters were ripped and in very poor condition. We left our reservation early without a refund because my sons coughed themselves awake all night. Terrible terrible place.
