« Better than the pictures!! I stayed and hosted a full day meeting with my work Team! It was an amazingly, comfortable and productive day! Each had their own recliner, space to plug in and have a fully engaged creative day planning our work for the year ahead! Plenty of counter space for snacks, we had lunch delivered (thanks to our awesome host for the suggestions) and sit down for a meal at the dining table with incredibly comfortable chairs. « Just as listed with a ton of extras. Jill and Jim were excellent hosts answering all our questions and responsive to our needs. Both boats were great, the house was clean and comfortable, and lots of room to spread out and relax. We took one day to hit the Mall of America 1 1/2 hour drive each way, but other than that, spent the rest of the week at the house and boating. Caught a handful of bass but nothing crazy. « Stayed here with family for a couple chill days on the lake. We loved the space to spread out, the hot tub, and all the toys on a rainy day. House was clean, quiet, and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, but a bit sparce. If you keep your cooking simple (or get takeout from the great pizza spot) you'll be good to go! Communication with the hosts was great as well. »

« Wonderful place to stay, very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Hosts are amazing, and the delicious cinnamon rolls we received upon arrival shows how much they want your stay to be as comfortable and welcoming as if you were in your own home. We will be using this house again the next time we are back in MN! »

« The house had a lot of charm and history. There was enough space for us to spread out, sleep comfortably, and hang out in different areas of the house. The large dining room table was our main hang out spot and for our girls weekend tradition, we shared a pie in the little basement speakeasy. It was close to the many shops on main street, the McLeod County fairgrounds, and a winery. We would book this house again. »

They were so clean, easy to find( good directions)!, very well stocked with all we needed, comfortable beds, basement ( garage space ) in cabin 2 had pool table and lots of space for our kids to play , when they weren’t out fishing, swimming on the raft or fishing off the dock which they LOVED! « We had a terrific nine-person family reunion at Sandy's lake house. It was great to have three bathrooms for our crew, and there were enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The yard, beach and dock are outstanding. Sandy was an excellent host, and the home is within easy driving distance of the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. We certainly will consumer this home for our next getaway in Minnesota! »

« Thr proprrty looked just like the pictures. Relaxing with great views.We live in the Twin Cities and were having our house painted inside. We couldn't be in the house while they eere painting. We love the fact that the host chose to make this a pet friendly getaway. Howard lake offered some really good opportunities for us. Our car broke down and we went to a place called Omega Auto and they took great care of us and were extremely reasonable. We also found a boat rental nearby in Maple Lake...

« Every year I get together with friends to play board games and ride on a lake. This was a great location to do it at. There was a few things that could use some slight upgrades but did not take away from the experience of the stay. Thank you again. »

« We have been fishing with this group for ten years so we know anything could happen. with all the rain a couple of nights before, the lake was up and the fishing was off. The place was perfect for our group and we might like to try again next June when we figure out the dates. The pontoon on the driveway was a little tight. »

« Would absolutely stay here again. The check in process was quick and easy and the host was always responsive. It has everything we needed already there as far as kitchen utensils appliances and supplies. We had 9 people total and everyone got their own bed/couch which was really nice. It was a quick drive from the twin cities and the lake was smaller but not busy and easily accessible. »

« This was a cute little house on a beautiful small lake and community. It was the perfect location for a small family gathering and for me to make lasting memories with her mom in her hometown with family. It's a perfect location for small families too, and only wish I'd found it when my kids were younger but also a nice place for any age. Definately will be back. Thanks for the memories. »
