"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. "Loved this hotel - so close to everything in Heraklion. The breakfast was quite good and they have their own small bar which was a quiet place to unwind after a day of being out and about. The staff was warm and welcoming. They gave us recommendations and took time to ask us about our day and what we had done. At one point we ordered a massage in our room as my husband had hurt his back. He absolutely loved his service It should also be noted that this is the only bathroom on our entire three week trip that had a two sink bathroom - it was absolutely luxurious! :) "
