Our house had everything we needed and was a great size for the two of us with every amenity we needed including shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The house was very nicely decorated and serene as well as the surroundings outside. I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners (his name escapes me at this moment) and he was very nice and helpful and was very willing to help with anything we needed or give suggestions for things to do in the area. The location is very centrally located with many things to do only a short distance away yet the location itself was very quiet and peaceful. Charming details make the place special, from the retro red fridge, to the dry bar with a variety of crystal glasses for every conceivable type of wine. For morning caffeine needs, there is a bright, shiny, tea kettle with a wide variety of teas as well as a keurig with a variety offering of pods and creamer options. The bed and linens are comfy and cozy and there are many upscale, prepaid entertainment options on the television. The Golds are eager to offer assistance if needed, but also respectful of guest privacy. A word of caution to anyone who finds climbing steps challenging; the bathroom is. a short flight up from the bedroom. The location, between Fairview and McKinney is close enough for convenient runs into town, but far enough out to offer the getaway feel of the country which is especially important when one is escaping from the busyness and demands of city life. ##### Alison S.
