I really enjoyed my stay at the Aloft by Marriott Dallas DFW Airport Grapevine. The room was very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. I especially liked the color scheme and modern look - it honestly felt more like a small studio apartment than a typical hotel room, which made the stay feel extra comfortable. The bathroom and shower also had a really nice, modern design. My only small critique would be that I wish there were shelves inside the shower for toiletries, and I would have preferred the water pressure to feel a little more direct. Nothing major at all, though, and it definitely didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, the room felt clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable. I’d happily stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room and lobby were clean, but had been struggling due to leaks from the bad rains. Staff was able to promptly check us in. The room is nothing to write home about, but clean and met our needs. Bed was VERY soft (not ideal if you prefer a firm mattress). The bar had odd hours, and our last night there was an event, blasting music until nearly 3am. Fortunately, it wasn't too much of a disturbance because we were in the far end, but I imagine being above the lobby would be hard.

Aloft was a perfect solution to an overnight layover. The free shuttle for pick up and return to the airport was convenient and low stress. The fun attractive room was well-appointed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Staff & service
Staff seemed to be in a different world. Van driver was almost insistent I was not booked at their property but a different Aloft. When I called front desk for van to pick me up, she gave driver wrong gate area. I called to check on van and she hung up on me. In checkout I asked about the airport shuttle and she gave me a QR code to scan for parking… staff completely not helpful. Property was very clean room comfortable. Just expect to ask question 3 or 4 times before you get a good answer
