Tout, du bâtiment XVII à la décoration incroyable, du personnel aux petits soins à la gastronomie, de la chambre aux feux de cheminée dans tous les salons, était placé sous le signe de la perfection. « Appartement TRÈS bien situé (Royal Mile & Bridge St.), mais c’est aussi le coin le plus bruyant de la ville à la fermeture des pubs. Il faudrait la climatisation pour pouvoir garder les fenêtres fermées. D’ailleurs il manque aussi plusieurs objets de base pour que cet appartement atteigne le minimum de confort... »

« L'hébergement est proche d'un arrêt de bus deservi par plusieurs lignes menant directement au centre ville d'Edimbourg. Les hôtes sont très gentil également. La chambre était petite mais on pouvait circuler dans celle-ci. Néanmoins, l'isolation est inexistante et ceux même dans le nouveau bâtiment. (On entend tous les bruits ou même les voisins qui peuvent ronfler) »

« Séjour de 2 nuits à l’hôtel, nous étions 2 adultes et 3 ados. Nous logions dans un lodge a côté du bâtiment principale au rez de chaussé. La chambre était spacieuse et agréable. Nous avons très bien dormi. Nous avons garé gratuitement notre voiture sur le parking de l’hôtel et avons tout fait à pied (environ 40mn de marche de la vielle ville). »
