« This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again! »

« The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. « We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and a great location. The owner, Doug, had great communication, and the check-in was a breeze. It's a quick drive to Galena, but the area is also very beautiful. We took advantage of the spa 2 minutes from the house & had massage in the lovely spa. Would definitely go back in the future. »
