Great Ski & Winter rental close to lifts at Mt. Crested Butte!
Our property is very accessible to the adventure park and base activities in the summer and ski slopes in the winter with only a short walk to the lifts. The space is larger than most 2 bedroom units. The great room opens up to the dining area and kitchen. The unit has a Master Bedroom with a King size bed and a Second Bedroom with two Queen beds. In the family room, there is a sleeper sofa.
Newly renovated bathrooms and furnishings make this unit a real treat. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower and there is a second bathroom with a shower/tub.
The unit is equipped with a washer & dryer, use of a hot tub/Jacuzzi just a few feet outside the door. There is a sauna upstairs in the building. The unit has one reserved parking space in the attached garage and one space for an additional vehicle in the parking lot. The unit has an electric log insert in teh family room. There is no wood burning allowed but the log set simulates a real fire. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils and cookware necessary to prepare meals in the unit throughout your stay.
Other amenities include, Free WiFi access, cable television, plenty of seating at dining table and bar stools at the kitchen. The unit has a large porch to enjoy on sunny winter days and throughout the summer and fall seasons.

Close to slopes, good communication
Enjoyed our stay at Ponderosa. Easy walk to slopes. Would recommend renting a locker ahead of time so you have less gear to carry each day. Communication with host was very good before and during stay. Condo was clean. Nice size living area. Hot tub right down the sidewalk. It's ground level, but there is one flight of stairs. The beds were too hard for our liking. We cook most of our meals and some better cookware would of come in handy. Overall, was a very nice stay.

Spacious place and close to slopes!
The condo was very clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of six. Bart was super accommodating in letting us extend our trip due to weather. The condo was an easy walk to the chairlifts. We will be back again!

Absolutely perfect
This place is so darn close to the slopes. Steps away! Also great hang out room and a nice big table. We cooked and played games and the view from the windows is the tip of Mt Crested Butte! Wow! Definitely coming back!

Such a comfortable place to stay after a day of hiking
This is one of the nicest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in.
The feature I especially liked was the different thermostat for each room. I could get the bathroom toasty before a shower without getting the rest of the place too hot.
Also, the water pressure was good and you didn’t have to wait too long before getting hot water in the shower.
The queen beds were firm but not hard & there’s a new Tempur-pedic mattress in the master.
There’s a TV in the living room that has a DVD player & a TV in each bedroom.
Two sets of sliding doors lead to a patio with a good view of the Butte. The kitchen appliances all worked well, and I appreciated the fact that the refrigerator didn’t have any annoying high-pitched noises when it ran.
Would definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
