The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Staff were slow to respond to issues, closed the pool and hot tub early before posted closing time, the continental breakfast was limited, and there was little to no water pressure. I would give 3/5 stars in rating, but with the limited hotel offerings in the area it was one of the better options.

I experienced an unusual problem that may not be common. When I arrived, the check in system was down, so the front desk person assigned me a room that was slightly different than what I expected; however, it was perfectly fine. After returning from an external event, I was surprised that another person was assigned my room. I had only been in the room a few minutes, but fortunately I had locked the door so they couldn't get in with the keycard. The desk had not put me in the system when it came back up, but after they learned of the error, I was assigned the room in their system. It was an odd problem, but it was handled with little inconvenience to me. I was in Craig for my 50th annual high school reunion, and I had been to Craig multiple times in the past, but stayed at multiple other properties. This was the cleanest,best maintained property of any of them. I was pleased with the stay, even though I was at off-property events most of the weekend.

Early check in was a very difficult, actual manager was very un-accommodating checked guests in ahead of me (I was there 20 minutes prior) then told me it would be a few more minutes… Swimming pool was green in color zero chlorine present! Room had white spots on carpet close to the bed, not sure what it was, could’ve been bleach spots. Definitely felt service was compromised because I was an Expedia customer!! Check in was smooth. Room was clean and spacious. The shades on the window did not work properly. The fire alarm woke me up out of a dead sleep at around midnight. Lasted for less than a minute but long enough to be annoying. Breakfast was good. I would stay again.
