The barn conversion is stunning, with striking architecture, high ceilings, and exposed beams that create both character and comfort. The location is peaceful with beautiful countryside views, yet close to the coast and ideal for exploring the island. Everything was spotless, well equipped, and thoughtfully designed. A memorable place to stay – highly recommended! The home is a striking contemporary retrofit of a former agricultural barn with a beautiful modern garden and sweeping views of the River Medina valley. It is spacious yet intimate, minimalist yet cosy. Underfloor heating and warm natural tones and materials throughout ensure a sense of comfort, while the high angled ceiling and large expanses of glass make the space feel like an extension of the landscape beyond. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, with plenty of counter space and all new appliances, and the open plan naturally lends itself to socialising and entertaining. Bedrooms are uncluttered with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are generously proportioned and have a clean aesthetic of functional luxury. Within easy reach of the RedJet ferry terminal in (West) Cowes, South Barn is also walking distance from a large supermarket.
