"3 family vacay ages 14-50. We had a great time! The weather wasn’t great with double red flags on the beach 4 of the 5 days we were there. We still used it and having the equipment (chairs, coolers, sand toys, umbrellas, towels) available at the house was a huge bonus!! The kids rode bikes and visited basketball and pickle ball courts multiple times a day. They also made use of the game cabinet every night. We cooked several meals and had plenty of pots/pans/dishes for all of us. The house was SUPER clean and well stocked with everything you can think of!!Downside of the trip was the pool was out of service when we were there, luckily it was cooler weather (70s-low 80s) but with the double reds on the beach a pool would’ve been nice to relax at. The owners worked with us to find a solution to the lack of a pool and got us waterpark tickets for a day. Location was great for walking to beach, pool/courts, shops, grocery, restaurants. Also great for runners. So many directions to go in and paths to take. Safety was never a concern.We would recommend 10/10 to stay here! Communication with the owner was easy. Jill answered questions right away leading up to the trip and during the trip!"
"This is our fourth time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. The house is fully stocked, the pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect. It’s a short walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. There’s plenty for everyone to do. Jesus is wonderful to work with. We’re already looking forward to next year’s trip!"

"We had an amazing stay at this Outer Banks home with our big family group — 8 adults and 7 children all under the age of 5! The house was a perfect fit for us, with plenty of bedrooms and common space so everyone could spread out comfortably.The private pool was a huge hit — we used it constantly, and it provided endless fun and convenience, especially with so many little ones. The beach was just a short, easy drive away with hassle-free parking every time, which made beach trips super manageable even with kids in tow.The location was ideal, close to grocery stores and anything else we needed during the week. On top of all that, the owner was excellent — very responsive, friendly, and proactive in making sure we had a great time.Highly recommend this home for any large family looking to enjoy the Outer Banks together!"

"We loved our stay at The Escape OBX! Karol is an excellent host. She was very responsive to questions and really thought of all the “extras” to make our stay easy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking tools/appliances and spices, etc. And we loved not needing to pack all our beach things. Beach chairs, cart, boards and towels were all available for use during our stay. We would definitely stay again — very clean and comfortable!"
