« The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid. »

« Katie and Dave are amazing hosts and the property is exceptional. Their attention to detail in each room is apparent and watching the sun set over Lake Superior was awesome. Would highly recommend the Blue Wave Inn if you are ever in the area. A trip truly worth taking. »

« Sweet little place, clean and comfortable for our two night stay. The small refrigerator was enough for our purpose of eating breakfast only but the freezer was small and didn’t hold our container. Counter space is limited for personal products. But the location is central to many attractions and the fire pit is stacked with wood for an enjoyable evening. »
