« I was concerned that the nearby construction project (Escanaba is updating its water infrastructure) would disrupt the peace & beauty of this house that looks over Ludington Park & Lake Michigan. « Our family of 8 adults enjoyed our stay in this lovely home conveniently located for the things we wanted to do (day trips to Kitchi-ti-kipee, Menominee). We also enjoyed Leigh's Wine garden downtown, Sand Point lighthouse, multiple outings to the beach in Gladstone, and Barn on the Bay for ice cream. We were visited by Mama deer and two fawns in the backyard. The house had plenty of space for cooking meals, storing gear for 8 people, and parking for two vehicles in a nice, quiet neighborhood. »

« Lovely house and property with a huge yard. Very clean!! It was easy to check in and out. There is no WiFi and the service is spotty but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. Our dogs loved the yard. We grilled and had a fire each night and swam in the lake every day (we walked down a bit to get to the more swim-able part of the beach). Only thing that would improve this place for us would be a fenced in area of the yard for our pips—then it would be perfect! »

« We had a very wet weekend. But the hosts were fabulous to work with and were flexible with us when we thought we had to stay longer due to the games being pushed out from the rain. Would TOTALLY stay again if we were coming to the area. Very clean and welcoming. 10/10 stars for a family/chill weekend get away. »

« We loved the Big Shag Lake house. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and pots and pans anyone could need. The room overlooking the lake was our favorite, very comfortable and great place to hang with a group. »
