We really enjoyed this hotel. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the desk space and an accessible place to have our luggage.
We appreciated the breakfast being included. Wished there were some healthier options available, perhaps more fruit. Overall they had several options to choose from and we did not go hungry.
We appreciated the hot beverage station being available 24/7. It was stocked up and cleaned regularly.
Wished the pool was available. That was the only reason I did...

Comfortable stay. Slight towel shortage. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the one lady that did ALL from greeting us, taking our 6 people group order, cooking all of our meals to cashing us out was a great experience.

Remembering that Independence is a small quaint town the Apple Tree is a big time hit. The staff were super friendly, the hotel was very clean, and it is located right in the middle of town. The pool was clean and just the right temperature and the same goes for the two hot tubs. We enjoyed our walks, and browsing in the shops. The towns people are the most friendliest I have ever met. Just a great place all around.

The best time to visit Copan, Oklahoma, is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.
These seasons offer pleasant weather with comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the outdoor attractions around Copan. You'll find the climate much more agreeable for activities like visiting the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve or enjoying the local fishing spots without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter.
For those interested in wildlife viewing, particularly the bison herds at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, spring and autumn are excellent. The animals are active, and the natural landscape is at its most appealing, with lush greenery in spring and vibrant colours in autumn.
