« My room had a large balcony that overlooked a courtyard where there was a large outdoor fireplace and had partial view of pool. i did not eat at the restaurant but it had a solid, varied menu and seemed reasonably priced »

« Historic hotel and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The description said "valet parking", but this was not accurate. They do have free parking for guests. »

« As with any historic hotel, one should not expect everything to be shiny and perfect. That being said, this hotel is pretty well maintained, and its charm makes up for the cracks in the walls. The location can’t be beat! Our room was quite comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. »

« I was hesitant because the outside looks kind of rough, but the inside of the motel room was very clean and the bathroom was nicely updated. Comfortable beds, and the family that runs the motel were very friendly! »

« We adored the rolling hills and vast landscapes of SE Ohio, all the more thanks to the VRBO we stayed in. Chad was an excellent host, and any questions we had were answered promptly. We didn't get a chance to explore the grounds surrounding our cabin due to time but if we stay again we will! PLUS the chickens that live on the land are so cute :) »
