My favorite place to stay in Cooke! The staff is so nice and the rooms are very clean and have a great charm about them. The parking is perfect, you can park in front of your door and they provide coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and a hair dryer.

A great, clean motel with kind staff (shoutout to Coco the lobby dog :)). The beds were nice and supportive. Prime location for driving to Lamar Valley at sunrise or heading up the Beartooth Hwy. If you’re sensitive to noise, note that you may be able to hear the footsteps/voices of your upstairs neighbors.

This is the er one time we have stayed at this place. My wife and I love it because it is close to the northeast entrance of Yellowstone. Cooke City is peaceful and we can forget about the busy city life. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean room w/refrigerator. Staff is helpful. Parking is directly in front of your room - easy to move luggage in and out. Easy access to the Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone (Lamar Valley area) Two good restaurants in walking distance - Beartooth Cafe for lunch and dinner and Cooke City Coffee for breakfast & lunch. Another great choice for breakfast is the Log Cabin Cafe & Beer Garden located 4 miles down the road in Silvergate. We stayed there in Spring 2025 and Fall 2026.

We stayed at Alpine Motel mainly to explore Yellowstone, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s walkable to all the restaurants in Cooke City, and the Northeast Entrance is just minutes away. Getting to Lamar Valley early in the morning for wildlife viewing was easy and absolutely worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay.

This was our first time staying here ! We always wanted to get the pleasure of staying here but they sale out fast ! We got in luck and purchased a two night stay and enjoyed it so much ! Beds were comfortable , bathroom was a great size , manager was a great guy and property was well managed and taken care of. Will stay again in the future for sure ! Keep up the small town feel Alpine Motel you guys are doing great !

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortablewith 2 queen beds, great quilts and big fluffy pillows. The manager, Chad, got us checked in quickly and also gave us great recommendations for dinner. The best place to stay if you're heading to out to Beartooth Pass in the early morning.

Ok. It’s a good place to stay if you’re going over Beartooth Pass or into the YNP. Just be prepared for very high prices for just ok accommodations. It’s a two block tourist town , so just be prepared. There are good places to eat. Only real “sort of complaint” is the toilet seats were very low. Lower than standard seat height. If you have issues sitting down on a toilet, the ones at Alpine Lodge may give you some trouble. I’d stay again only because it makes seeing the Park and going over Beartooth easier in a two day stretch. Just tourist town prices to keep in mind.

The room we had was very large and the beds were amazing. We could park right at our door and even walk to the nearby restaurant. This motel was a good find and we were very impressed. It also had everything that we could need. Coffee maker, microwave and a fridge.
