"A grand, beautiful and tastefully appointed property. Lovely grounds and view of the lake. The staff was very welcoming and happy to cater to guest requests. Our room was very comfy with robes and complimentary snacks The bar was comfortable and popular. All in all, a very special place."

"They overbooked the hotel and gave my sisters room away for her second day. Her room also had water damage over the bed. She was told just to pull the bed out if it started leaking. Our room smelled of mildew when we entered with condensation on the inside of the window. The tv would randomly turn itself off or the channels wouldn’t come on. For breakfast it wasn’t very good either, not having everything it stated it would have. I had to get my own plates and bowls out the cabinet when they ran out. The pool also didn’t seem cleaned at the bottom. This was me and my sisters graduation from college and we were separated by hotels. She was moved 20 minutes from me. We won’t be returning or recommending the hotel as Marriott Bonvoy members. I’m very disappointed because we stayed at the same hotel at two different other states and it was great ."
