"This place was fantastic. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the lacation was great, about half way between Truckee and Kings Beach. Lake Donnor is also about 25 mins away and less crowded than Lake Tahoe. "

"Stayed there between summer and ski season. Excellent value. Not particularly crowded. Easy drive to lakeside on the quieter north side. Staff helpful and friendly. At the foot of the ski runs literally at the base of the mountains. And on the edge of a great golf course. "

"This place is fantastic. It's directly in the village but there's a resort shuttle to get you there (10 minutes away). Plenty of food options on site, we mostly used the coffee/mini mart shop. But dinner was great at Sandy's. It has a walk to lift right there and a ski check for convenience. I doubt I'll stay anywhere else on our next trip back to Palisades."

"The condo was very nicely appointed, so conveniently located. I wasn't able to ski but I was so close to walking to gondola I used my ikon pass to meet up with the family for lunches. I had fun walking around the village having a latte or listening to music in the afternoons. Having the ski lockers on the downstairs floor made life very easy for the skiers in the group. Lots of great options for dining without having to get on your car- we all loved that!!! We will definitely be back"

"The restaurants are not that great. Most don’t do breakfast. I wouldn’t mind paying a high price but it needs to be good. The resorts are geared towards young people & that’s great. However, as a senior citizen resorts don’t offer much. I would like clear walking trails with no rocks as seniors have difficulty maneuvering rough terrain. We’re not dead yet & want to experience our beautiful country."
