We came long distance and arrived earlier. I was asking if we could park there already and come back at 2pm for check in. She said we can get in already. That was so sweet and we absolutely appreciated it. The hotel is older but it is kept in good conditions and it is very clean.. it would profit from some minor fixes. In the bathroom was just the bulb no glass over it. I also think the lightbulbs in the room should be lighter it was a bit on the dark side. But again we were very pleased with our stay. I can definitely recommend it. Back balcony with beautiful view. Walked our kids out back to play in the creek and to the playground that is also right behind the lodge. Walk to dispensary across the street, no smoking inside but outside is 420 friendly. Next door to a diner & cafe and a very short walk to convenient stores as well. Really cool squirrels that will sit with you and you can share snacks with. Very beautiful lodge, very clean, a little dated but has everything you need and you will feel safe and have a blast with nature. If you have children the rules are strict as far as you can’t have a single bed even if it’s a king. We did have to upgrade to a double bed room but I’m so grateful for the stay and experience. Coffee & granola bars are available in the mornings. Neighbors were polite & housekeeping lady was very polite as well. Great area, friendly people.
