Historic Ranch Cabin. Dog-Friendly. Perfect just for you or a small family. We cut no corners with the beautiful western decor, leather furniture, Fully stocked kitchen with only the best amenities. Hike the landmark rock formation at the Cabin or the trails at the Fossil Beds National Monument, only one mile away. National forest access is only a few miles away. Local shopping and dining. Plus, it's only a short 30-minute drive to Manitou Springs, and 40 minutes to Colorado Springs, Home of Garden of the Gods, Olympic & Paralympic Museum, hiking or biking Pikes Peak, and visiting the United States Air Force Academy.
Come and enjoy the many outdoor activities that Colorado is so famous for. One mile from Hwy 24, 15 mins to Woodland Park, 45 mins to the Colorado Springs airport.

Dog and horse-friendly!
The cabin comfortably sleeps, 4 people. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. There is a leather queen size sofa bed in the living room. There is also enough room in the bedroom to use our single blow up mattress for another guest. Please contact us if you have any questions.
We have an eat-in kitchen that seats 5.
The kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful dinnerware, glassware and a full set of quality cookware, pots, and pans. You will have all the utensils and serving dishes you may need for a simple meal or a gourmet romantic dinner.
Out back in the private patio area, by the waterfall, you can grill your steaks and burgers on the large propane grill with all the utensils and propane you’ll need. The fireplace, next to the waterfall, is a great place to have a romantic evening or a special family time. Firewood is not provided.
Your horses can stay in the two Horse pastures with covered stalls and water tanks. Parking is available for your Horse trailer. Hay is provided for a fee. This must be arranged ahead of time.
You are welcome to hike the property and explore the unique granite rock formations. Please use care and limit your exploring to the lower rocks.
Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument Visitor Center is 2 miles away. This is a wonderful place for Horse trail riding and Hiking,
18 miles south is Historic Cripple Creek. There you will find Gaming, Steam Locomotive train rides, Gold mine tours and many dining choices.
Skiing is just a little over an hour away. Breckenridge or Monarch. Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper, and Cooper are just an hour and 30 minutes. and there is virtually no traffic!
Hiking our nation's tallest mountains. There are seven "14'ers" less than 1 1/2 hours away. Most of these are moderate hikes. You can easily drive to any of these, Hike, go to dinner and return home in a day. The largest granite, the freestanding natural arch is just 20 miles from here. Harmonica Arch is a great hike in the Lost Creek Wilderness Area.
Pikes Peak Highway and Santa's Workshop are only 30 minutes away. Or the Crags trailhead is 20 minutes from the cabin. There you will find a beautiful hike to Devils Playground and on to the summit of Pikes Peak.
There many places to go fly fishing, including several Blue Ribbon streams and the " Dream Stream". This area has some of the best Elk, Mule deer and Pronghorn hunting around.
• ALL dogs must be pre-approved. Dogs may never be left unattended in the cabin unless crated. Guests let us know that they are bringing their dog during the booking communications.
• There is a $25 charge for each dog or horse. Out of respect for the next guests, dogs may not be on any furniture, bedding or pillows at any time.
• Cats are never permitted.
We live close to the Cabin, so we are usually available should you need something or have questions. We are just a phone call or text away.

Hosts were always quick to respond to any inquiry I had both prior too and during my stay! The cabin was absolutely perfect, well designed and building and land are very clearly well taken care of! This was a great little cozy cabin for a vacation in the mountains. It’s quiet, you can see wildlife, and the views are gorgeous. The cabin itself is warm for the colder seasons, but I can’t attest to the hotter times — although, the airflow through open windows was excellent on the warmer days we stayed (our nights were cold outside but warm inside). The owners have little notes all over the cabin to tell you how to work certain things or which lights go to which switches. It was easy to determine whatever we needed. There is a washer/dryer that was easy to use. While we don’t have dogs or horses, they are welcome at this cabin and on property with places for them to stay. We saw a mule deer outside the front window the day before our last day there, and before that we saw paw prints around (maybe coyote or bobcat? I’m absolutely not sure, I am probably wrong but it wasn’t an ungulate). There are so many cute statues and fun decorations to find inside and outside the cabin. We truly enjoyed our time here. It was like coming back to a small piece of comfort and home after a day of exploring, hiking, or just being a tourist. We also had fun exploring around the “backyard.” The actually fenced off backyard part has a lovely water fountain rock fixture built into the section of mountain behind the cabin itself. It was soothing, and I loved opening the windows to listen to it or sit outside with it. Definitely recommend this stay for an individual, couple, or duo on vacay.

Property is very well taken care of and managed. I appreciate the instructions in the book as well as the labels on drawers, light switches and notes around. The views are absolutely incredible from behind the cabin, saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen!I was surprised how close to the road the cabin was, as based on the picture I thought it would be more secluded, but not a deal breaker.

#### Cozy cabin with spectacular rock features
We found this cabin charming and cozy, with tasteful western décor and lovely wildlife sightings around the waterfall. However, the many posted signs with strongly worded instructions and potential for fines made the atmosphere less relaxing than we look for on a vacation.The listing is advertised as “pet friendly,” but the strict pet rules without providing acceptable alternatives like a dog bed/crate (We asked if these could be provided and were told no) make it difficult for cross-country travelers to comply. Overall it felt more like pets were tolerated than welcomed, which was a much different experience than other pet-friendly rentals we’ve stayed at in the past. Overall, the home is lovely and would be great if you aren’t traveling with pets, but if you are, make sure you read the rules and consider how it may impact your trip.

My husband and I cannot express the joy we had staying in the cabin. We walked the grounds everyday with our dog. The property has unbelievable beauty everywhere you look. #### Awesome place to stay
My wife and I traveled with our two little ones to see friends in Divide and this house was perfect! Very clean and quiet and the hosts were so responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be back to stay a bit longer and enjoy the hikes and quiet seclusion!

#### Perfect getaway.
This cabin and location are awesome. It was very clean and orderly. There was a lot of games to play. The decor was great and the hiking part behind the cabin was really beautiful. The communication was quick and pleasant. We will likely be visiting again in the future.

#### Cabin in the woods
Loved the cabin and surrourdings. Lots of wildlife. We even heard elk bugling. The hot water wasnt quite hot enough, makes it c hard to get clean dishes, maybe they to bump it up for winter. If it was a little more handicapped friedly would stay again.

#### Colorado getaway
We absolutely loved the cabin. Very private and the view of rocks was amazing. We explored the property which was natures perfection The wildlife at the cabin included bobcat, deer, chipmunks, fox and mountain lion . Just perfect for my husband and I. We definitely plan on coming back in the future.
