Surprisingly Good Value
Hotel about 50 years old; formerly a Days Inn, apparently. However, inexpensive price of room was NOT indicative of quality. Room was nicely appointed and comfortable. Heating was fine considering the cold night in Colorado Springs. No complaints on a quite nice stay.
I don't recommend this hotel, room wasn't clean, bathtub was dirty and shower handles are rusty and broken, I couldn't even take a shower, bed sheets had holes that looked like cigarette burns. The bad odor made it difficult to breathe normally.

I was charged full price for the same night stay even though I paid for a nights stay through Expedia. The front lobby employee would not refund my money. The room smelled from cigarettes, burn holes in the comforter from cigarettes, bathroom needed attention.

I liked the location away from the high traffic areas but if you walk or use public transportation then this is the motel it's really the quietest motel iv close to 3 bus lines and no body
Checking in was the worst part of this stay for sure. The person at the front desk was short towards me, and just plain rude. The room was nice and clean and the rest of the staff were very nice. Especially the owner who is on location most week days and He is a sincere man, you can just tell he means what he says and I don’t think that he is one of those tell you anything to appease you just to get you away from him kind of men.
I've stayed here before. It was a bit run down the 1st time I stayed here. This time I feel it's in neglect and supreme mismanagement. 1st there is a deposit that is prepaid for 200/night. It was a surprise, the window to main lobby had be replaced by wood, the door safety latch in room was torn off, extra furniture in room was in very poor shape or just not there. Dressers and hutches and side tables were all mismatched and not properly installed. The bathtub was clean but had to verify the looks of dirty weren't actually dirty, bathroom fan was covered in greasy lint and dirt. The king bed was old school spring only type matress in the very very firm catagory. Wasn't quite same as floor but not far from. All in all it gives the feeling of staying in or near the ghetto though this is in an average neighborhood. It has gone down since my first stay and gives the impression that they cannot improve the negatives I noticed. I believe it could be a very nice place, but as for now it's not a good place to visit much less stay.

The room was not clean. Sheets had stains and the floor was dirty. No hair dryers and only one coffee pod and no coffee was served at front desk. The shower backed up in the tub. We decided to try another room. We had to check three different rooms before one was acceptable. It appeared as if the microwave was working but when we came back that evening the microwave did not work. They refused to do anything about it. The wifi did not work and stated they would reset - I doubt if they did as I could never connect. They stated the owner refuses to do any kind of exchanges of appliances or accommodate the guest . Would not recommend this hotel

The only good thing was the second shift clerk that checked me in. As an older hotel I didn't have much expectancy, the next morning as I took a shower the water built up in the tub. I tried to work the drainage to work, but did not. I noticed hairs from another person not me which was disgusting. I to ok the issue to the day clerk and he acted as if he wasn't supposed to be there, clueless. I told him I wanted my account credited, he gave me an excuse so I demanded his manager's information. Then he took my information down and said the manager would call me. 2 days later I do not have any reference of that manager contacting me. Monday I will call that person.

I have stayed in Knights Inn before and was very pleased. Not this time. The place shows neglect by management in keeping the place clean and attractive to visitors. It was not pleasant to find a cockroach in the towels. The seat by the mirror was filthy. The coffee pot had one coffee in a recycled plastic holder. The first room that I was assigned ha not been cleaned yet. Overall very disappointing in Knights Inn. Not the Knights in My whole family stayed in.

Leak above the tub from the top floor. Cleaning crew was hanging put in our room "Cleaning" the room.
Room was very dirty and furniture is damage /dirty! That roomed looked like 5 dollar corner girls get booked to sleep with people in those rooms! The woman that checked me in was very unprofessional and didn’t look professional at all! When I called to get a clean or different room she told me everything was booked and ALL the rooms looked liked that ! I request a refund and was told it was non refundable so I was out of extra money having to pay at a different location ! I’m currently waiting on a return call from the manager ! Maybe I can get some answers and professionalism speaking with him !

We didn't like anything. The light and the air conditioner did not work. Took them 2 hours to get someone to go look at it and the light never got fixed. We got catfished, there was no breakfast and no swimming pool. I used my credit card to reserve the room and the guy at the desk said the room was not charged or going to charge my card so I paid cash and then they charged me not once but twice for the room. So I paid 3 times for our room. Got the money back for one and still waiting on the other. I will never never get a room there again nor recommend to my worst enemy. What's worse is that the receptionist was the managers son.

At first glance the hotel looks good on the pics they show on The website and when you come to the property and it’s not what they advertise lots of homeless surrounding the rooms. They won’t let you check in before 3pm. The rooms are ok but they are not remodeled. Overall the place looks dirty and a bit unsafe. The only reason I booked this room is because they were few on the city due to Labor Day weekend. I pay over $100 with taxes not worth even 39.00. Just being honest

Most horrible hotel experience. We got a non smoking room and it smelled like someone just smoked a cigarette in our room. We left 10 minutes after we got there. We could not stand the smell and the room was not clean. DO NOT GO THERE.

Very poor experience. Yes, technically it was rather clean and all, but I felt very insecure staying there. People smoking by my door, leaning at my car. I had my firearm with me and it kept my mind sane. Plus, worst beds/mattresses in my life!

There were drug deals going on outside our window. Arguments over money for said drugs. Pubic hairs in the dirty bathtub. Holes in the bathroom door. No cover on the bathroom fan.

The room was not clean. Someone left their bra and shorts on the shower and the floor was still dirty. Bedding had cigarette burns on it and the neighbors were doing drugs and smoking in front of our door all night.

I don't know how it happened, but I needed a room close by. It was late and I was very sleepy. somehow I was booked at a motel 49 miles from my location! I tried calling 3 times, but no one answered, so I called hotels.com back to tell them of the error. They requested a refund for me, which was REFUSED!!!
I will never stay at a Knights Inn ever again! As much money as they take in EVERY DAY, and they can't give a refund because of a mistake - to a 70 yr old woman on Social Security!
No very good customer relations - and I will pass on this information to everyone I know!
The only bright spot of this place is the night manager, Audra! She is the sweetest person and tries to do whatever she can. Otherwise, it’s extremely “Sketchy”!!!! Vagrants knocking on our door all night. Thank goodness for cell phones, because our room had no phone to even call the front desk. Police make REGULAR passes through the parking lot! The faucet in the sink wasn’t even attached so when you lifted up to turn the water on it completely came out. No fire alarm, only wires sticking out! On a positive note, shower head and water pressure was good, but even after a shower you still felt dirty! Rates were too high for this place.
Disgusting and sketchy, never again. Non smoke room full of smoke and cigarette burns in bedsheet. Felt like I was staying in a brothel. Lady was nice when I asked for a refund for my remaining days to go somewhere else.
Room she assigned had several broken down car in front of the room. The room was a smoke infested and suspicious smell of illegal drugs. I did not risk my life staying there due to the other occupants standing outside there rooms appearing to be selling drugs. Litterally!
Worst place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying.
