After your day of sight seeing you can end your day by drinking a glass of wine watching the sunset over Garden of the Gods on the deck. Once nightfall has come you can then count the stars while enjoying the deck and fire pit. All of nature's bounty is just steps away from our home away from home. Endless hiking & biking trails are literally at your doorstep in our home. Within minutes you can be at all the wonderful attractions the Pikes Peak region has to offer. The quaint charm of Old Colorado City is within minutes with its unique shopping and wonderful dining. Counting Stars Adobe has a beautiful rooftop deck with gas fire pit overlooking the city of Colorado Springs, Red Rocks Canyon Open Space and the stunning Garden of the Gods. The home has a large master suite with a new plush king size bed and walk-in closet on the main level with an en suite bathroom. There are 2 additional bedrooms in the lower level. One bedroom has a new queen mattress, dresser and closet. The third bedroom has a daybed with a trundle bed for two twin beds. The third bedroom also has a dresser and large closet. The second full bathroom is in the lower level. After a pleasant day of exploring the area you can come home to our lovely home and relax in front of the TV and electric fireplace. The living area with couch and loveseat has a smart TV and high speed wireless internet. You will be able to access your own streaming apps. The main floor living room also has a cozy reading nook area. The adobe has a well equipped kitchen and laundry area all conveniently located on the main floor. The eating area is just off the kitchen. The home is tastefully furnished with well appointed furniture, high quality linens in southwest style. The kitchen is fully stocked with a lot of supplies. In addition, the pantry has basic supplies provided. Paradise awaits just outside the front door for bikers, hikers, nature lovers and photographers. Counting Stars Adobe is just one mile from Bear Creek Nature Park Center. Just across the street is the Red Rocks Canyon Open Space with abundant trails to explore. It is a dream location for your biking or hiking vacation. The home also has a 2 car garage so you can safely store your valuable outdoor "toys" while enjoy a night out in the unique flavor of Old Colorado City a short 1/2 mile from your vacation headquarters. In addition Manitou Springs is a short 10 minute drive where you can explore the wonderful shops and dining establishments of this unique mountain town. Want your vacation to be more relaxing? Just hang out on the rooftop deck and count the stars while you enjoy our lovely Colorado cool evening mountain air. They provided great local recommendations, info on nearby activities, and even baked us a welcome treat. The location was perfect for us as it was just minutes away from the things we wanted to do and see like Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and Cave of the Winds. It’s 10 minutes give or take to the Cog Railway Depot, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods, downtown Manitou, and Old Colorado City. The home is very young child friendly with a garage to park in, bathtubs in both bathrooms, and a park just down the street. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the hostess even left us a welcome note and a tasty treat. The beds were heavenly! We had such a wonderful stay! ##### Janna W. The house was immaculately clean, quiet, roomy enough for us, beautifully furnished, very well equipped, and had very comfortable beds. Bedrooms on different levels made for great privacy. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The 360-degree view from the rooftop deck is beautiful. Unfortunately, rainy weather prevented us from enjoying the fire table up there, which would have been a cherry on top. Overall, it was an excellent place for our stay. ##### David S. "Counting Stars" is the best VRBO property I have ever rented. The location was perfect. It was so easy to visit Garden of the Gods, Eyrie Castle, Seven Falls, The Broadmoor, Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge. Very close to Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City and downtown Colorado Springs. The house is so comfortable and fully equipped. The roof top deck is really great with nice views and a fire pit. The host, Debbie, is wo derful yo work with. Her response time is so impressive and she provides wonderful suggestions and information. Do not hesitate to rent this property. You will love it! This property is very well appointed with our needs being covered. We enjoyed the roof deck and the perfect Colorado fall weather. Beds were also very comfortable. It was perfect for our family needs as we were able to watch movies in the family room and hang out and talk on the rooftop patio - that was the best.
