Colorado Country Home (Black Forest)

  • Home Description
    This is a charming farmhouse from top to bottom! As you enter into your home away from home, you'll see an elaborate vaulted ceiling with wood beams that allow the natural sunlight to flow throughout the first and second levels. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances with the cooktop center of the island allowing that chef in the family to cook hibachi-style! You'll have full access to the new washer/dryer set. The loft area has a nice cozy couch that pulls out into a queen bed.

    The Property
    There's a vaulted ceiling with a two-story sized electric fireplace. Above the fireplace is the 55" Smart LG TV. Free WIFI in the home that allows you to sign into your own personal Netflix/Hulu Accounts. The 5 acres surrounding this home has a fenced stall and turnout area for guest traveling with their animals!

    Guest access
    Guests have the freedom to walk the entire fenced-in area of the property. We do not allow access to the outbuildings on the property which are regularly maintained by the owner.

    Amenity Upgrade:
    We have just recently upgraded our property to include a spa tub. This offers our guest additional options for enjoying the great outdoors all year around from a relaxing heated spa tub.

Beautiful cabin with great amenities

We loved our stay at Joshua’s property! It has beautiful views with plenty of wildlife. The covered patio area was perfect for when it sprinkled and the hot tub was great! 10/10 would stay here again.

Awsome little house out in the woods with everything you would need even if you forgot to pack something. House was very clean and Josh was very fast at replying to my text about a simple AC problem. Watching the deer while in the hot tub was a big plus. Awsome house Awsome people!

Gorgeous and clean home.

We highly recommend you book this on your next trip to Colorado. The check in process was super easy. Communication with host was excellent and words can’t describe how clean and stunning this home is. I’m a neat freak and I’m always nervous to stay in hotels or homes, but the moment I walked into this home I felt at home. It was spotless and cute decor was beautiful. You cannot find a better home for the price! I will definitely rebook this next time traveling to Colorado!

Perfect getaway

We wanted a peaceful location to relax and spend time with family celebrating Thanksgiving. The Colorado Country Home was perfect and just what we were looking for. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and we appreciated the coffee and snacks provided along with some of the basic cooking supplies. The home is beautifully decorated. With the fresh snow and crisp temperatures we enjoyed the hot tub and stars each night. We will definitely recommend to others. Checking in and out were easy and Joshua was always quick to respond. Thank you!

Peaceful Retreat Convenient to Colorado Springs

With thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the location with its convenience to Colorado Springs. The kitchen was well equipped, including cooking staples and a wide variety of spices. We appreciated the coffee, tea, and oatmeal packets provided by the host. The covered outdoor seating was a lovely bonus. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the hot tub due to inclement weather. This is where the fireplace came in handy! The setting is quiet, peaceful, and filled with songbirds. The host was quick to reply when we experienced user error with the door lock and Wi-Fi. We would definitely return for a future visit.

Wedding Weekend!

It was exactly how the listing looks and reads! Prior to booking Josh gave me the address so I could make the decision on if it was close enough to my venue and it was! My wedding venue was 10 minutes away from the house. It was so spacious and rustic chic, just my vibe. Love the keypad entry, made things so easy- especially when they texted the code instead of messaging so that was super helpful!! Amazing experience overall. Would stay again just for us :)

Peace and tranquility

This property is amazing. We were worried there was no air conditioning. We left the windows cracked at night and the ceiling fans on all the time and it was very cool. We even hosted two nights with extended family over and the house stayed cool. Everyone in our family loved our stay. The location is very peaceful and good for the soul. The owners are extremely helpful and communication was great from the moment we booked and even after we left. Our daughter left some things and he helped us retrieve them. Highly recommend and will be back. The location was perfect to everything Colorado you want to experience. Thanks
