Bright and Inviting Space- Great Location!

Come and stay in this recently renovated space in the charming Old North End! Lovingly called the "Fox Den" this basement apartment features art from local artists and feels warm and inviting.

We are in walking distance to wonderful coffee shops, bars and parks. You'll be close to both the mountains and the trendy downtown area.

Note: Most of the living space has 6'4 ceilings however, there are shorter spots that are 5' 10 and the shower is quite short, at 5'9. Please aware of this when booking.

Colorado Springs stay

I’ve never stayed in a cleaner VRBO. This place was the perfect place to see gardens of the gods and Pikes Peak. There are also many restaurants and pubs close by.

The Fox Den

The location was easy to find and it was located in a well-kept, older, classy neighborhood. Our host communicated with us where to park and entranced instruments. The VRBO aka "The Fox Den" was clean, bright and welcoming. We very much enjoyed the binder of places to eat, breweries, coffee shops and things to do that the locals enjoy. Comfortable big bed, and nice kitchen area. The ceiling height is alittle low but that didn't bother us. We would stay here again.

Compact, but spotless and inviting!

My daughters and I stayed a week in this apartment. It was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The details to match the name were a wonderful touch. I really liked the historic neighborhood as it was quaint, convenient, and most importantly safe. The ceilings are low, but that wasn’t an issue for us at all. It is a basement apartment with a family living above, but we were there to eat breakfast, leave for the day, and come back to shower and sleep. I would stay here again.

The Fox Den is a great stay!

My wife and I had a great stay at the Fox Den. Katie and Bryan were both very nice when we ran into them in person. All of the other reviews accurately rated this VRBO. The only detail I would add is that the family is staying above the basement. There is some running around you hear from the kids. That being said, the family is quiet by 7pm. It really didn’t bother my wife and I at all, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on just staying in the VRBO. The VRBO is extremely well stocked, and well thought out. You can tell that Katie really puts time and effort into the place. Also the location in relation to Colorado Springs, and Garden of the gods is GREAT. My wife and I would definitely stay here again if we are in Colorado Springs.

Great, for the most part

Our stay at "The Fox Den" was, for the most part, great. Great location - close to a wide variety of activities, sights, restaurants, etc. Very clean and inviting, with many thoughtful amenities (bathroom amenities, fully-functional kitchen, a filled Brita water pitcher waiting in the fridge, Keurig machine and pods, environmentally-friendly soaps, etc.). Easy private entrance. Easy parking. The "apartment" is located in the basement of a beautiful older house that the hosts live in. During our stay the house itself was also rented out, and the guests upstairs were a little noisy, particularly early in the morning. Apparently the hosts only rent the upper part of the house out once a year, so we just happened to be there during that time. If it hadn't been for the early-morning noise we would've given a full 5-star review.

Great place!

I was very pleased with my stay. The property was just what i expected from the listing. It was very clean. Property owners were pleasant and helpful and had a nice binder with recommendations of different things to do. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again in the future.

Perfect Little Place

We came into town for a week for a friend’s wedding — this place was perfect for the two of us. It’s worth mentioning that the ceilings are very low, but if you aren’t taller than maybe 5’9 or so, you’ll be more than comfortable. This property is cozy as could be and had absolutely everything we needed. Would absolutely come back again and recommend anyone to book!

Love the Fox Den

The property was well appointed and good use of space. It very clean and was perfect for the quick stay. Close to Colorado College and shopping areas. If there was the miniest of washer dryer in the unit then a longer stay would be perfect. Thank you Katie for being flexible on the early departure. Great stay and comfy bed!

Charming!

The stay at Katie's proved to be comfortable and fun. The apartment was cute and well appointed. A nice refuge to return to after a long day of meetings. Extremely comfy bed. We especially liked the neighborhood. Walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop, and an adorable little restaurant. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice and cozy.

Our experience was great. owner reached out and explained there is a family living above you to ensure we understood there could be pitter patter of little feet. It was hardly noticable. Owner was very helpful. Overall a good affordable place to stay.
