It is fondly known as Badger Run. After working the land for several years this stunning 7 bedroom 6 bathroom home became a dream come true and was purposefully situated on a favorite knoll within stately ponderosa pines and nestled off the beaten path complete with a pond, barn, rope swing and panoramic views. It is private, quiet, and Colorado living at its finest with places to walk, play and relax. The home does not have A/C as it is situated in a high plains area at an elevation of 7500 ft and is equipped with several ceiling fans and many large windows to allow for good cross ventilation on warmer days. Badger is also on a well with wonderful clean Colorado water. No need to bring bottled water! We can accommodate larger groups for events such as weddings and other gatherings up to 30\. Any event over 18 people is subject to additional terms and fees; message us for additional pricing and policies. We also have a listing across the street that can be rented for even larger gatherings up to 50 (sleeps 16 overnight). This is 1 C Barn, VRBO # 989769\. If you contact Andrea, she has additional accommodations 12 minutes away at Pegasus Point, VRBO #3579680\. Either of these spaces have discounts available for simultaneous bookings, just mention you have another booking with us! Required short term rental agreement to follow all bookings via email. All reservations subject to booking at owner discretion based on the home's schedule. All rates subject to change prior to owner booking confirmation and all bookings require a direct conversation with the homeowners as to the nature of any planned group gatherings. Close to everything you could need and within 30 minutes of most places! But the house got extremely hot during some of the days due to no air conditioning. We brought 3 industrial fans with us and that wasn’t enough to cool the whole house. The basement TV wouldn’t connect even after the wifi was changed. There were not enough towels for the number of people allowed to stay at the house. Things to consider for next guest providing more fans, more towels, more toilet paper, and making the check out list shorter. The check out list was a bit overwhelming on the last day just because of the size of the house. The house is so beautiful and Alyce was very responsive and kind. Directions are a bit fun to get to the correct turn in, but that added to the secluded aspects the family loved. The temperature was very hot, especially the last full day. The house had thermostats but we never found an actual a/c. Would recommend host add more fan options. Overall, for the 17 of us that stayed in the house, we would do it again (at least in a cooler season). ##### James A. We cooked, hiked, went to the zoo, played board games and just hung out! We were a total of 10 adults plus kids and dog. Plenty of room for all and more of everyone could have come. Property manager Was absolutely remarkable With working with us Very responsive. The house was very large and accommodating for our Large family.
