Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness. As a mother of three littles, I was expecting to have to make a trip to the store, upon arrival, to purchase toiletries and essentials but when we arrived at this home, everything was supplied. It was so nice to take a luxurious shower and each bedroom was perfectly cozy. The kitchen was outfitted with every piece of cookware and utensil we could have needed.
