"Our stay at Gamboa resort was great! We visited for the nature as we big into birding. The whole area is so beautiful and nature at it's finest. The hotel is almost 25 years old and although it shows its age in the main building, the room we had was very spacious, clean and comfortable. On the first day from our second floor balcony we saw lots of birds, including 4 aracari toucans and 2 killed-billed toucans. The staff at the place was super attentive and friendly, in the restaurant Jonathan was a star for us! Food every day was good and although it's buffet, there were plenty of options for each meal. Overall our stay was amazing. Loved birding in the area and came back home with a whooping 35 new species identified. We will be back soon!"
