Team Building Adventure
This property was perfect for hosting our Varsity Basketball Team and coaches… between games they explored the property and fed the animals… everyone had a bed, shared meals together. A beautiful peaceful environment, and now that we know about the little cabins on the property, hopefully we can do it again and have Parents staying close by too! Coach said it was a great experience and he would definitely do this again.

Not worth it
This home needs lots of work. In need of serious upgrading and improvements with cleanliness. The furniture and beds are not very inviting or comfortable, and seem to have been picked up at garage sales. The kitchen is rickety and not well stocked. Finally we asked if the home was open for early check in and we were charged $100 for getting the house ready early. It was very clear that this was just to collect more money. Certainly not how we choose to run our rental. Extremely overpriced, but unfortunately one of very few options near the wedding venue down the road. It was nice being able to see and feed the animals on the property.

Family Time
We came up for a wedding, the house was perfect. We had 2 families (12 people) staying at this house and it was perfect. Enough space for everyone to be comfortable, and fun for all ages. The house was very clean, and well maintained.

Family Time
This was a perfect place for ALL 15 of the immediate family to stay so that we could memorialize our beloved Grandpa to his final resting place in Cloverdale. We were able to easily warm the large meals we brought in full size oven and cook top, full size coffee pot, dishes service for 15, new microwave and toaster. The laundry room provided a great space for our overflow prep items and a safe place for the doggie bowls. The charming yard and country setting are gorgeous. Annette, our on sight host, is gracious and kind and extra generous to include children with the farm animals. The lay out of the house worked fabulously for our slide show. We used both the flat screen TV ( we brought our own HDMI cable) and the next night, we used the dining area wall with a projector so the kids could play in the living room. The sound is surprisingly contained and we all were able to hear in the room we were in with out echo. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to come again for a bit longer. If I were to make a recommendation for improvements, I would love - directions to the property to include "when coming from 101 and 128, continue past Mendocino county line for X miles and look for mountain house estate then see the Victorian on the left X distance after that. -full length mirrors added -a seat for the shower (we should have brought handicap bath seat) -for a group our size, a 4th bathroom for (2 up stairs and 2 down stairs) would have eased things greatly.

A lovely property!
The Victorian is a beautiful historic home but with all the modern conveniences - a spacious kitchen and a large upscale master bathroom, plus two other full baths. It was perfect for our family of nine in the area for a wedding. We had plenty of space to accommodate teenagers, adults, and children. The outdoor spaces are lovely - a dining patio and a relaxing terrace with comfy outdoor couches. The overall feel is rustic and full of character. There is a property manager living in another building on the ranch who was available and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The teens enjoyed a hike on the property with great views. Overall we loved our stay.

Awesome
My family and I spent 3 nights and loved it. Plenty of space and the location was perfect for us. We had six adults and five children and had room for more. Pros: 1. House is quant and nice. The house was built in 1900 and very much has an old time feel. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated. 2. Distance from town. Nice if you want to get away. 3. House was clean and presentable. With the exception of a couple non-essential item most amenities were available. 4. Tap water was very good. No need for a filter or to purchase bottled water. 5. Manager was very nice and accommodating. Cons: 1. Need more bedding (blankets and pillows) 2. Located close to the highway. Not a big issue as the inside deadens the sound very effectively. 3. Distance from town. If you want to be in to town.

Perfect for a wedding group
Although the Victorian is a bit rustic it was absolutely the perfect house for the family of the bride! The kitchen was large enough to allow for large meal prep. There was a large living room the bridal party was able to get ready in. The yard had the benefit of being enclosed which was lovely for my dog. In addition it was big enough to have a bridal brunch in the back yard. The outdoor propane fire place was lovely. The fact that there are additional cottages on the property make it the perfect location for a family of the bridal party. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more!

Ramshackle, not as described!
The property was in no way as described nor as shown in the pictures on VRBO. The “wine country estate” is more of a ramshackle home on a very busy road with traffic going by all day and through the night. The house was dirty; kitchen floor dirty and carpeting badly stained. There were mouse droppings on the carpet in one of the bedrooms, indicating that it was not cleaned thoroughly before our arrival and the pest problem they are having has not been attended to. The property is in desperate need of repairs; gates are broken, hooks falling off the walls….in bad shape and nowhere near worth the nightly cost listed. We are very disappointed and dismayed that this home was not as described on VRBO, and this serves to undermine trust and respect previously held for VRBO. Not worth the nightly rate! Not enough towels for the guests; set up for 4 of us, not 7. Over a week prior to our stay, we informed the owner of 3 more family members joining us. When we arrived there weren’t enough towels for each guest and I contacted the property manager to try to get more more towels for our guests. Even after she finally brought them to us at 9 pm, she still didn’t bring the 3 sets we asked for. So the house was dirty, it is not a described, the kitchen is not well equipped and it is in terrible disrepair. Property manager is ineffective. Not recommended.

Cozy and beautiful weekend in the wine country
My friends and I spent a an amazing and relaxed weekend at this beautiful property. The house is spacious, it has plenty of space even for a bigger groups. Comfortable beds, stylish décor (newly renovated with nice, vintage style). Also, very clean. We were really happy with the state of the kitchen amenities. The backyard is probably the best part: it is under a deep shade, lots of lounge chairs and even a hammock. We would definitely consider staying again.
