"quiet and beautiful home in a village to stay while exploring North Devon"

"I don’t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didn’t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. The radiator in the family bathroom a friend burnt herself. It does get red hot so be careful. We struggled a bit with the heating as it was really cold at the beginning and then extremely warm. We knew it was remote but anyone not wanting to walk may find it a bit remote. Had a fantastic stay with some great...

"The grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The bed I was lumpy and uncomfortable which for the price of the room I found very disappointing. The staff were gracious and helpful."

"This was one of our best small hotel stays. The room and separate bathroom were excellent, the owners were lovely and the chef-cooked breakfast was top notch. Located in a quiet village and close to the sea, Difficult to know how it could be bettered."

"Perfect crash pad for a weekend away in Devon The night porter is super helpful & welcoming when arriving late at night & takes care to ensure you have everything required for a comfortable stay."

"Great food. Lovely warm pub. Great staff."

"A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. The cottage being upside down with the living area on the first floor and bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor is well equipped kitchen wise and an enormous double bed and dog friendly.Overall a very pleasant comfortable and welcoming cottage."

"Had a wonderful stay there, although the spa was a bit old and dated, the views from the room and the restaurant were spectactular, and the food was like a michellan star quality top class, and the staff couldnt do enough for us,i'd go back again in a heart beat 10/10"

"the dogs loved it, and it was relaxing brake for the humans"

"Check in was easy, friendly staff, room decor was lovely, clean bedding. Parking was perfect and surroundings are beautiful. Had a beautiful breakfast too. Only negative was quite a few wood louse running round the bathroom, kept slippers on but may put you off if squeamish."
