We unplugged them all for the weekend and you could still smell them. The house was mostly clean, but the shower could have been cleaner. The only outlet in the bathroom was on the light above the mirror, so we were lucky that we brought an extension cord. There were no other mirrors in the home, making getting ready for a wedding challenging. There were no blinds on the bedroom window, just curtains that didn't close all the way. The back bedroom had a door to the outside with a full-size window and no blinds. The mattresses were covered in thick plastic, so it was hot and loud when you rolled over. There was only 1 towel bar in the bathroom, so we hung towels on the back of a doorknob to dry. The property was not well kept. There was junk laying around outside and weeds climbing the fence. We were required to sweep before checking out, but only given a broom and dustpan, no vacuum of any sort. Michele was very responsive, but there wasn't much she could do about the issues that I raised. The neighborhood was safe, but I won't likely stay here again while in Clinton. ##### Scott P. So much better and about the same price as a hotel. I was traveling for work, but as someone who used to live in the area, this would make a nice spot to stay for a fun trip. There are some things to do in Clinton, but it's right down the road from beautiful Bellevue, and also close to the Quad Cities. There is a ton do do between those two very different destinations. The host was so gracious qnd communicative.
