"We came to Goldsboro to visit our son and his family at SJAFB, stayed in TLF on base for the close proximity. Needed an extra night and booked the Hampton, which is where we stayed on a previous visit. What a difference! Our room was spacious, bright, welcoming and clean. Two comfortable queen beds, plenty of (counter) space to drop your belongings! The breakfast was great with plenty of hot and cold options including waffles, eggs and sausage (maplewood smoked, yum!), yogurt and baked goods. I appreciated the the juice options! The dining room is beautiful, love the color! The chairs were comfortable to sit in and have an extra cup of coffee. The staff was amazing at both check-in and check-out. To top it off: The Hampton was nearly $20 cheaper than the dingy room on base with only a double bed!! Next time we come to visit Goldsboro we will stay at The Hampton for all the comfort and amenities! It's only a 6 minute drive to the base. Very Nice Place to Stay!!"
