We were way back in the woods on the bank of the Chattahoochee River. The cabin was cozy and very well appointed. I needed to call our host once bc I forgot something. She answered promptly and was gracious. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast out on the deck each morning. The trek to Helen was easy. The directions to the cabin were perfect and quite detailed. The sounds of the River in the morning were a nice additive. Keep in mind you are in the mountains/woods so bugs live there so don’t complain when you see them. Roads are not paved and a bit steep at times but thankfully you don’t have to walk (that’s what cars are for). Overall 9 out of 10\. Had everything we needed. Owner very accommodating. Amazing view from back porch and hot tub (also had a pullout privacy screen to block view of second cabin down the road). Beautiful, forested, and somewhat secluded part of river. Lots of deer and turtles. Paddle boarded, tubed, and swam in front of property. Just be warned!
